Meet our Founder Domenique Edwards, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC
Founder, Director, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I started in psychology research, reading studies all day, but something felt missing. My favorite moments were the rare times I could actually interact with study participants. That's when it clicked, I needed to be doing something clinical and patient-facing.
I discovered I had a natural gift for putting people at ease and communicating about complex topics in ways that actually made sense. Plus, I've always been fascinated by psychology and how the brain works.
I often get as much from sessions as my clients do, which feels really special. There are days when it doesn’t feel like work at all, just meaningful conversations with another human. When someone tells me I'm a "unicorn" provider or that they finally feel heard, that's why I do this work.
I believe deeply that everyone deserves a mental health provider who listens without judgment and supports their decisions while using their expertise to guide them toward their goals.
How I Support You
Genuine Connection I show up as my authentic self and use humor when appropriate to lighten the mood. Mental health work can be heavy, a little laughter helps.
Collaborative Partnership
You're the expert on your own life. I bring clinical knowledge, but we make decisions together about what feels right for you.
Holistic Understanding Your mental health doesn't exist in a vacuum. We look at sleep, nutrition, relationships, work stress, and cultural factors that impact your wellbeing.

Meet Stanford Call, MS, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Stanford brings an integrative approach to mental health care, combining research-backed medication management with natural wellness options and mindfulness practices. He specializes in treating conditions in children, adolescents, and adults including ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and Autism.
As someone who personally navigates ADHD and neurodivergence, Stanford understands the unique challenges his clients face. His treatment philosophy centers on collaborative partnership rather than prescriptive authority, working together to create personalized plans that blend traditional medications with natural supplements when appropriate.
Stanford's ideal clients are those feeling stuck in cycles of overthinking and stress, who want an active partner in their mental health journey rather than someone dictating treatment from above. His approach emphasizes short-term, practical interventions that create lasting change through collaboration and respect for each person's individual needs.

Meet Cassandra Aguilar, MNPL
Care Coordinator
Cassandra brings both heart and experience to her work at Edwards Psychiatry. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Leadership, and has dedicated her career to making mental health care easier to access and more welcoming for everyone.

Questions You Might Have
You're not alone in wondering about these things. Here are honest answers to questions we hear most often.
Does the team actually communicate with each other about my care?
Absolutely. Unlike many practices where providers work in silos, our team collaborates regularly to ensure your treatment plan is cohesive and effective.
What does "identity-affirming care" actually mean in practice?
It means you won't have to educate us about being a person of color, LGBTQIA+, or neurodivergent. Our team brings lived experience and cultural competence, so you can focus on healing rather than explaining your identity.
What makes Domenique's approach different from other providers?
Domenique prioritizes genuine connection and collaboration over simply telling you what to do. She brings humor to ease heavy conversations, takes the time to understand your whole life (not just your symptoms) and makes decisions with you, not for you.
How does Stanford's personal experience with ADHD inform his work?
Stanford understands firsthand what it's like to navigate ADHD and neurodivergence. This lived experience, combined with his clinical training, allows him to relate authentically to clients' struggles and create treatment plans that account for real-world ADHD challenges.
What's Frankie's background in neuroscience, and why does that matter?
Frankie has over 10 years of neuroscience research specifically in learning, memory, and mood. She's currently pursuing her PhD at Emory University. This means her ADHD coaching is grounded in how the brain actually works, translating complex neuroscience into practical strategies.
Can Cassandra help me if I'm more comfortable speaking Spanish?
Yes. Cassandra is fully bilingual and can assist with intake, scheduling, and care coordination in Spanish. While clinical sessions are conducted in English, having Spanish-language administrative support removes barriers for Spanish-speaking clients and families.
